According to information from the Daily Mail, the Red Devils would watch Victor Lindelöf carefully. Under contract until 2020, the central defender has evolved with Benfica Lisbon since 2013.
The Swedish international is starting to make a name in view of his latest performances. Jose Mourinho would particularly appreciate his profile and Manchester United would be ready to formulate an offer to secure the services of the 22-year-old player as early as January.
However, Benfica would not be inclined to negotiate before the summer transfer window since the Portuguese club is still in contention in the Champions League.
Trained at Västera SK, Victor Lindelöf left Sweden in 2012 to join Benfica Lisbon. A few seasons later of evolving in team B, the central defender became an important holder with the first team. Since the beginning of the championship, the player has made 13 matches and has participated in all matches in the group stage of the Champions League.
